Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online CISSP tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, youll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students learning journeysall from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one online CISSP tutoring to individual students.
Set your own tutoring hours and work as much as youd like.
Adapt lessons to different learning styles and personalize instruction to student needs.
Respond to on-demand tutoring requests when youre available.
Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct remote sessions (no commuting).
Leverage tools such as the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time.

What We Look For In a Tutor

Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Expertise in CISSP and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation & Logistics

Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for continued work with the same student.
Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice for.
We handle logisticsyou invoice for sessions and we process payments.
Tutor remotely using our platformno commuting required.
Get matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.
AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
