Email Marketing Coordinator

Location: Sherman Oaks Office (3 days/week) & Remote (2 days/week).

Position Type: Temporary (Parental Leave Coverage)


Duration:This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 46 months, covering for an employee on parental leave. The exact duration may vary depending on business needs and the employees return date.

Job Description:

We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Email Marketing Coordinator to become a valuable addition to our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple projects and brands simultaneously to assess and enhance email marketing quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze email performance metrics, including open rate, click-through rate, and conversion, and provide comprehensive summaries to key stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain daily performance reports to track key email metrics and monitor progress against campaign goals and benchmarks.
  • Pull and analyze data from email A/B tests to evaluate performance, summarize key findings, and support ongoing optimization of email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with developers to efficiently request and QA unique links to be used in emails. Thoroughly check link functionality during the proofing process before emails go live.
  • Help manage the daily operation of the email marketing channel, overseeing 70+ emails each month for our top two brands.
  • Drive the planning, testing, and execution of automated workflows for smaller brands to deliver timely and high-quality content to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with email agencies for production and deployment, streamlining the internal review process to meet all deadlines.
  • Work with Director of Email Marketing to create inventory projections across multiple products and brands. Pull and analyze previous SKU sales to project inventory movement in upcoming promotions.
  • Efficiently collect necessary information from Brand teams to ensure accurate and synchronized communications.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with agency partners to ensure a smooth and accurate exchange of data that matches internal reporting.
  • Streamline the Asana process to adapt to the daily changes for various brands.
  • Proof and fact-check emails and assist in securing approvals.
  • Coordinate creative assets, using Figma, Dropbox, and other programs.
  • Monitor email deliverability; maintain clean and efficient email lists.
  • Pull reports for multiple brands from our ecommerce and email platforms as needed. Consolidate results in easy-to-read visual presentations that can be shared with the company.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of marketing or e-commerce experience, with D2C/direct response experience being a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and highly proficient in Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Experience in Asana or similar project management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to ask Why? and How can we make this better?
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms and design tools is preferred.
  • Basic HTML skills to assist with quick code edits on emails or landing pages is a plus.
