Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator – Missouri Organic Recycling

Missouri Organic Recycling is a leader in sustainable recycling solutions, processing brush and yard waste, and producing high-quality mulch, soils, and compost for both wholesale and retail customers. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused  Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This full-time role involves operating wheel loaders and skid-steers while helping maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly recycling yard.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Safely operate heavy equipment, including  front-end loaders and skid-steers.

  2. Load materials into trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.

  3. Maintain bulk yard products and ensure proper organization of materials.

  4. Assist in keeping the recycling yard clean by removing trash and contaminants from brush and yard waste.

  5. Perform basic upkeep of equipment, including cleaning and checking fluid levels.

  6. Follow supervisor instructions and company safety standards at all times.

  7. Support general grounds keeping and other duties as assigned.

  8. Stay busy.

Qualifications

  1. Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of work.

  2. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

  3. Experience operating  Front-end loaders and skid-steers  safely.

  4. Good communication and customer service skills; able to interact professionally with both customers and team members.

  5. Must be dependable and able to work full-time (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM).

  6. Must be able to work at the  City Drop Site at 10301 Raytown Road, Kansas City MO 64134

Compensation & Benefits

1. Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.
