Job Title: Multi-Family Superintendent Garden-Style Apartments

Location: Lake City, FL

Salary: $115,000 $135,000 + Allowances, Bonus & Full Benefits

We are currently seeking a Superintendent to lead the field operations on a new garden-style apartment development in Lake City , FL .

Project Overview:

This upcoming project is a garden-style multi-family community featuring multiple low-rise apartment buildings spread across a landscaped site. Amenities include outdoor recreation areas, clubhouse, and a resident-friendly design focused on comfort and accessibility.

Position Summary:

As the Superintendent , you will be the on-site leader responsible for all phases of construction, managing subcontractors, enforcing safety, and ensuring the project progresses on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all on-site construction activities from start to finish
• Manage daily coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with building plans, codes, and safety standards
• Maintain and track project schedules and milestones
• Conduct inspections and quality control measures throughout the build
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and stakeholders
• Monitor site cleanliness, security, and logistics
• Resolve issues in real-time to avoid delays or cost overruns

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on garden-style or similar multi-family projects
• Strong background in wood-frame construction and site development
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs
• Familiarity with project management and scheduling software
• OSHA certification preferred
