We offer behavioral healthcare services - psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. - that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Our Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT) offer a "hospital without walls" program, delivering high-intensity behavioral health services directly within the community to assist individuals who may lack access to the necessary care. ACTT comprises a comprehensive team of professionals from diverse disciplines who provide tailored services to address the client's mental health, substance use, vocational, and housing needs. This is achieved through evidence-based treatment methods, meticulous service planning, and tracking of outcome measures.

We collaborate with various local and state agencies that conduct compliance and outcome studies for our clinical services, thereby supporting our initiative for continuous improvement in outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness who are at the highest risk of psychiatric crises and/or impacted by other social determinants of health.

Salary: $80-$85 per hour

Hours: PRN ~ 12 hours per week

Requirements: Physician Assistant or PMHNP

Must be willing to travel locally: Jacksonville and surrounding areas

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
  • Meet daily ACTT community visit requirements as directed by ACTT Team Leads and/or Director
  • Provide medical supervision for ACTT mid-level providers and participate in daily ACTT treatment team meetings as needed
  • Oversee medical supervision for prescription practices and deliver medical care to ACTT clients
  • Serve as the primary medical contact and authority when communicating with LME/CMOs regarding ACTT clients and/or ACTT concerns
  • Update the EMR system concerning all direct care visits and related documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience:
  • Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure for North Carolina
  • 1 - 2 years of post-graduate/residency experience in community psychiatry.
