We are seeking a Product Designer who is passionate about crafting clean, functional, and human-centered design solutions for healthcare and medical technology products.

The Product Designer will be responsible for designing user experiences and interfaces across Elixir MDs suite of healthcare platforms and applications. This role combines empathy, creativity, and technical understanding to ensure our digital products are accessible, compliant, and aligned with the companys brand and mission.

You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and clinical teams to translate complex workflows into simple, elegant design solutions that support both patient care and operational excellence.

User Research & Discovery

oConduct user research, usability testing, and interviews with clinical staff and patients.

oDevelop personas and journey maps specific to healthcare environments.

oAnalyze user pain points and translate findings into actionable design improvements.

Design & Development

oCreate wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar tools.

oDesign responsive, accessible interfaces that meet healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, ADA, etc.).

oMaintain and expand Elixir MDs design system and brand consistency across all products.

Collaboration & Implementation

oPartner with engineers, product managers, and compliance teams to bring concepts to life.

oPresent design ideas and rationale to executives and stakeholders.

oParticipate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

Quality & Iteration

oEvaluate product design performance using analytics, feedback, and usability testing.

oContinuously iterate designs to enhance usability, accessibility, and engagement.

oStay current on emerging trends in medtech, UX/UI, and digital accessibility.

Bachelors degree in Product Design, Human-Centered Design, UX/UI Design, or related field.

35 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or regulated industries .

Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent design software.

Strong understanding of user experience principles, accessibility (WCAG/ADA), and responsive design.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and digital health privacy standards preferred.

Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design for digital products.

Empathetic and user-focused, with strong attention to detail.

Able to balance creativity with regulatory and brand requirements.

Excellent time management and ability to work on multiple projects.
