This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the United States.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that support large-scale software operations and internal business functions. You will work on both backend APIs and frontend components, contributing to systems that handle millions of users and large volumes of data daily. This role offers a fully remote work environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver scalable solutions. Your contributions will directly impact system performance, reliability, and user satisfaction, while providing opportunities to grow technical expertise in modern web technologies and cloud-based systems. Ideal candidates are proactive, adaptable, and passionate about creating high-quality software that meets both internal and external needs.

Accountabilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend APIs and frontend components using Node.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable data structures and query relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Participate in brainstorming and documentation sessions to plan features and system improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical and operational challenges.
• Independently resolve issues and contribute innovative solutions to improve systems and processes.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss progress, ideas, and development strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional programming experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience building REST APIs in Node.js and writing TypeScript packages.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Hooks).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset, with initiative to improve solutions, systems, and workflows.
  
  Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python, Go, Google Cloud Projects, Datadog, Prometheus, Serverless, CI/CD, GitLab, Kubernetes, Terraform, or familiarity with the Sky: Children of the Light game and its community.
