\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
\n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital emergency department setting
\n• One year of nursing experience required
\n• Assess patient readiness to learn and developmental levels affecting ability to learn
\n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
\n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
\n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
\n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluation of patient care
\n• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
\n• Participate in professional development and unit performance improvement activities
\n• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
\n• Required education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited school of nursing
\n• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of nursing
\n• Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care
\n• Promote safe, clean and secure hospital environment for all patients and staff
