ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Castro Valley, California.

\nRN - ICU Neuro
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Must have minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience required
\n• Patient ratio of 1:2 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
\n• Every other weekend requirement (4 weekend shifts per month - Saturday/Sunday x2)
\n• May float to ED, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Required certifications: California RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIH (all must be AHA certified and in hand at submission)
\n• TNCC certification preferred
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Travel experience required with 50-mile travel requirement
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• Provide care for post-thrombectomy and TNK patients requiring detailed neuro checks
\n• Manage post- procedural/surgical trauma patients and medical surgical level patients
\n• Work with specialized equipment including EVD management, ICP monitoring, massive blood transfusion protocols
\n• Care for 18-22 daily census in 24-bed ICU split between two wings
\n• Orientation includes non-billable modules (1-5 hours average) completed through e-learning

\nThis healthcare facility operates a 24-bed intensive care unit specializing in Level II Trauma ICU and Neuro/Stroke ICU services. The facility provides comprehensive critical care with primary focus on neurological and trauma patients, including post-thrombectomy care and surgical trauma cases. The ICU team works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with quick patient throughput, supported by extensive interdisciplinary services including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and specialized equipment for complex neurological monitoring.
